It all began with two
frustrated psychologists.
We lived the CPD admin problem firsthand. We looked for something better, found nothing that fit — so we built it ourselves.
For a profession that values reflection,
our tools were anything but.
Every year, Australian psychologists spend hours hunting down certificates, manually tallying hours, and quietly stressing about whether their logbook would hold up to an audit. One of us managed it across spreadsheets. The other, across documents and good intentions. Neither worked reliably.
We looked for something built for us — and found tools made for nurses, tools aimed at provisionally registered psychologists, tools that added complexity rather than removing it. Nothing that understood what a registered psychologist's CPD year actually looks like.
"We're not from tech. But we understand practice, privacy, and what psychologists actually need — because we are psychologists."
So we built Ponder. Not to disrupt anything. Just to make one part of professional life genuinely easier — thoughtfully designed, compliance-ready, and built around how psychologists actually think and work.
This is just the beginning. We're building Ponder alongside the community it's made for, and we want your voice in what comes next.
Meet Ella & Aleksandra
Registered Psychologist
Ella works in clinical private practice delivering neurodevelopmental assessments across the lifespan — including ASD, ADHD, cognitive, and learning assessments for children through to adults — and as a consultant developing and delivering psychology-based programs nationally. She brought the clinical lens to Ponder — understanding not just what compliance requires, but what psychologists actually experience when they try to meet it. As someone who attends events, logs her hours, and sets learning goals, Ella knew the problem wasn't effort — it was that the tools hadn't kept up with the profession.
"I needed something that did some of the thinking for me. I'm not someone who naturally sits down to set goals or reflect — I needed prompts, structure, a tool that met me where I was and helped me organise my thoughts."
Registered Psychologist
Aleksandra works in organisational psychology, leading organisational development and leadership programs. With a background spanning culture change and transformation, she understands firsthand the demands placed on busy professionals. She stayed on top of her CPD — attending events, logging hours, meeting requirements — but the admin that came with it was scattered across too many places. There had to be something simpler that centralised it all without adding to an already full plate.
"There had to be a simpler way. One place to log hours, track goals, and actually find relevant events — without it becoming another thing to manage on an already full plate."
Built on values we actually hold
Trust & integrity
We handle professional data. Australian-hosted, private by design, and never sold. You should be able to trust the tools you rely on.
Thoughtful by design
Every design decision starts with one question: does this make it easier or harder? If it adds friction, it doesn't belong in Ponder.
Community first
Ponder isn't finished — and that's intentional. We're building alongside psychologists. Your feedback shapes every update we ship.
